Past & Present River Trail

A school holiday river trail along the River Tame in Witton and Perry Barr. The trail included jam jars with collected memories from along the river, and comments from local residents, old and young, about the river and how to look after it for everyone. It also included a school holiday trail (see below).

Included among the jam jars was a puzzle trail where local children could search for river wildlife and fill in a paper trail for a prize. The trail encouraged children to explore their local area, and find out about the river and the wildlife along it. The trail included animals produced by local children at two different river habitats workshops, so encouraged children to go looking for their artwork.
