Birds of Stirchley Trail - Birmingham Heritage Week

I developed the Birds of Stirchley Walk for Stirchley Library as part of Heritage Week in September 2024. It toured six bird portraits by local artist Stephen Earl Rogers positioned in community gardens run by Fruit & Nut Village, and a talk on route about the history of the Rea in Stirchley by myself. The original trail of six birds was set up by Fruit & Nut Village. 

Thankfully, the rain held off till the last bird! 

The walk also raised awareness of the bird trail through Stirchley, and promoted these sites as places to explore!
